"I let the caterpillars eat on my passion flower vine every year and it still thrives...and we have a LOT of the caterpillars (and just as many beautiful butterflies!!) I do think that this year the wasps have kept things under control...I see them…"

"If the caterpillars are orange with black bristly spines on them, they are Gulf Fritillary butterflies in process! They will strip your passion vines, but think of all the butterflies you will have. Usually your passion vine will come back, probably…"

"We did not even see these until it was too late. They ate nearly every leaf off this vine and it was a big one and the butterflies are still hovering around the vine.I just don't know what kind of butterflies these are. They have never bothered…"

THE NEXT THING WE KNEW THERE WERE SMALL ORANGE CATEPILLARS ON THE VINE AND THEY HAD JUST ABOUT EATEN THE VINE UP. NO,LEAVES LEFT. CAN ANUONE TELL ME WHAT THEY MIGHT BE? NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN UNTIL THIS YEAR.    See More
