Denise, I have to say good luck on this one. But, If it is not in a big area dig and pull the nutsedge from the turfgrass. If the nutsedge problem is in a big area I would leave it. Because chemical is not good to use on either yellow or purple nuts…

My question is what kind of soil helps hostas thrive. I live in SW Oklahoma and it is also very hot in the summers, but I have shade. Suggestion needed on fertilizer too. Thanks.
