I succumbed to the bright sunshine pouring in my front window and planted some Rosemary and 4 kinds of peppers. Both take a long time, so starting this early is not really a problem. I had a beautiful rosemary that I had grown from seed several years ago but an early frost killed it before I could get it into the house. The peppers need a long growing season, and our season here is short, so they will benefit from an early start. I'll move them to the greenhouse when the weather warms up. I have a few customers who I sell my extra plants to and they always appreciate plants that have a head start. Just the act of actually planting seed makes me feel that winter is over, regardless of what Mother Nature may still throw at us.
