Wow, what a variety of plants you have. You are so lucky to have such a large area to grow plants. Love the frog pictures, you have really captured nature in its true form, same goes for teh butterfly. Thank you for sharing Erica. Nice to know that we can grow so many beautiful flowers in Canada.

Manitoulin is a beautiful place Erica, and the people here are very friendly and helpful. Now if I could just talk even one of them into helping to turn the beds in my gardens.......

HI Erica! Growing season is from about October to May. Most of what I had is now dead! It didn't help that I went away for a week to Thailand and the 'garden' was only watered a few times. It has also become rather hot and humid. Summer is here for sure. Yesterday we had 35 degrees and 95 percent humidity. And we got about 40 little potatoes out of our box experiment. Boy oh boy were they ever tasty! Looking forward to seeing you pics this year!

How was your weekend?

I think we'll do the party on the Saturday (?) We haven't really discussed it much to be honest. I was hoping that we might be able to invite our neighbours (the Koops) up for the day too......Ollie has really missed them this summer and had asked if his friends would be coming to his b-day party. I'll have to ask mom and dad.

Do you guys have any other plans for the long weekend?
